TUBERCARELOSIS

Barangay Bangkulasi is one of the fourteen barangays of the City of Navotas.

 

It is located in Tondo, Manila, which is considered to be the largest of Manila's 16 districts in terms of area (8.806 km²) and population (631,363). It is one of the most densely populated districts, with approximately 80,000 people per square kilometre. ​

 

Because tuberculosis is known to spread readily in densely populated areas with poor sanitation, we thought that this area would be a suitable location for our medical mission.
