TUBERCARELOSIS

We, the members of Team TuberCareLosis, are doing our part in raising awareness about the dangers of Tuberculosis in densely-populated areas in the Philippines.

In lieu of the Global Social Leaders Competition, we have provided medical supplies and basic hygiene products to citizens of Barangay Bangkulasi during a TB Awareness and Prevention lecture. This lecture was made possible through a fundraiser/bake sale held last February 2019 with the support of our sponsors and generous donations. 

 

Our group wishes to see citizens who are more proactive about their healthcare, hoping to see a visible change in the Filipino's outlook towards medical care. With this, our mission to prevent Tuberculosis will continue even after the conclusion of the Global Leaders competition. Here's to being one step closer to a TB-free future.
